Week 6 of college football features one of the most anticipated games of the season: the Alabama Crimson Tide versus the Georgia Bulldogs. Anytime the SEC foes clash on the field, they provide great football action.
On Monday, the SEC announced that Alabama vs. Georgia will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 10, on ABC. Each of their last three regular-season meetings has been a night game.
The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series against the Bulldogs with an overall record of 45-27-4 and have won the last five regular-season matchups. The last regular-season meeting between Alabama and Georgia was on Sept. 27, 2025, when the Crimson Tide defeated the Bulldogs 24–21 in Athens, snapping the Bulldogs’ 33-game winning streak at Sanford Stadium.
This year, the Bulldogs travel to Tuscaloosa for a showdown. Their last trip to Tuscaloosa was on Sept. 28, 2024, when the Crimson Tide jumped out to a dominant 28-0 lead in the first 19 minutes, fueled by explosive plays from quarterback Jalen Milroe and a 75-yard touchdown connection to wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams. The Crimson Tide led 30-7 at halftime and ultimately defeated the Bulldogs 41-34 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The most recent matchup between Alabama and Georgia was the 2025 SEC Championship Game, when the Bulldogs defeated the Crimson Tide 28-7. This year’s regular-season matchup will be another showdown, as the two always go head-to-head.
Alabama currently holds an active three-game home winning streak at Bryant-Denny Stadium to begin the 2026 season and looks to keep that streak alive when the Bulldogs come to town.
